If you have ever needed an incentive to play well, then here is something that could help.

Most controllers either vibrate, rumble or otherwise provide something to let you know that you’ve screwed up. A pair of French hackers have taken things up a notch. The pair has gone as far as inflicting real physical pain to themselves.

Dyak and Furrtek have hacked up dog barking collars to their Sega Genesis controllers that give them a electric shock when punched. For those that aren’t familiar, the electric collars are used by dog owners to train them from barking. When a dog barks, the collar will send a zap of electricity to alert them to stop. The pair has now taken that concept to video games.
